Nigerian teenage striker,  Kelechi Iheanacho, struck in injury-time to earn three points for Manchester City to keep 100% record to the start of the season as he scored at Crystal Palace. The match was heading to a goalless draw before the Nigeria youngster who was an 89th minute substitute for Wilfried Bony, scored his first EPL goal.

The goal preserved City's 100 percent start to the season and left Manuel Pellegrini's side five points clear at the top of the Premier League table.

The 18-year-old struck accurately from close range after Samir Nasri’s shot was spilled. Iheanacho was playing just his second league game of the season after playing for five minutes in the Citizens’ 2-0 win over Watford on August 29.
Super Eagles coach, Sunday Oliseh took the time to express his happiness at Iheanacho’s performance and voiced his sentiments on Twitter.

“Kudos to Kelechi Iheanachor's for his goal that gives Man. City the much needed 3 points,” he tweeted via @SundayOOliseh.
"I am happy to score a goal like that," Iheanacho told Sky Sports. "Palace are a great team, but we are also a strong team. I am hoping to do great for the team.
"It is not easy because there are great players here, but I have to work hard and I will get there. We are much stronger this season and we are going to go all the way."

Iheanacho, who wears the number 72 shirt for City, has been capped by Nigeria at under-17 and under-20 level. Pellegrini said: "Kelechi is a very important striker and just 18 years of age. He has a lot to improve."
Another Nigerian striker, Odion Ighalo, gave Watford their first win in the EPL this season to celebrate his new five-year contract in fine style. Ighalo scored in the 59th minute with an assist from skipper Troy Deeney to give his promoted club their first full points in the English top flight.

It was his second goal in the EPL having scored on the opening day against Everton on his debut in the English top flight.
Watford did well to hang on to that lead despite playing a man short after 64 minutes, when Valon Behrami was sent off.
The win has moved Watford to 17th place on the table with four points.
On Friday, Watford announced Ighalo has agreed a new five-year deal that will keep the 26-year-old forward at the club till 2020.
